Starfish support

why "Starfish"? Passing a beach, a man saw a boy picking up and gently tossing starfish into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?”

The youth replied, “The tide is going out and they'll die, so I'm throwing them back in.”
“Son, don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish?" the man said. "You can’t make a difference!”

After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. He turned, smiling at the man, and said…
